Rusty and Rosy Reading™ is a program created by Waterford Institute™ that helps children preschool through second grade build a solid reading foundation. Rusty and Rosy Reading is delivered via DVD, allowing your child to learn in the convenience of your own home.

Rusty and Rosy Reading is ideal for children in preschool through second grade. The program is designed for children seeking additional educational enrichment at home.

Rusty and Rosy Reading is an early reading program composed of an individualized learning path for each child. More specifically, Rusty and Rosy Reading includes the following:

Rusty and Rosy Reading provides a complete early reading curriculum for preschool through second grade. The program covers crucial skills like phonemic awareness, phonics, text comprehension, vocabulary, print concepts, readiness skills, writing, and oral fluency.

Rusty and Rosy Reading is designed to be used for 15 to 30 minutes a day, five days a week at a minimum.

There is a placement test in Rusty and Rosy Reading that your child can take to determine her correct placement in the program. If your child appears to be bored with the program, have her retake the placement test to establish the correct placement.

The program determines what lesson is best for your child based on previous performance. Occasionally, a lesson repeats to ensure your child is learning and retaining the information presented in that lesson.
